Manikganj, June 21 (V7N) – A motorcyclist named Tara Mia (35) was killed after being hit by a Selfie Paribahan bus on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Manikganj.

The fatal accident took place around 8 am on Saturday in the Charkhand Golra area of Manikganj Sadar Upazila. The deceased, Tara Mia, was the son of the late Moslem Mia of Jagir Union in the same upazila.

Confirming the incident, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Golra Highway Police Station Sohel Sarwar said that Tara Mia was on his way to work by motorcycle when a speeding Selfie Paribahan bus struck him, killing him on the spot.

“Appropriate legal action is being taken regarding the incident,” added OC Sohel Sarwar.
