Gazipur, May 05 (V7N) – Ten-year-old Tanzila has died from injuries sustained in a gas cylinder explosion in the Mogarkhal area of Joydebpur, Gazipur, marking the fifth fatality in the tragic incident that has claimed the lives of an entire family.
She passed away around 11 p.m. on Sunday (May 4) while undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka, confirmed Dr. Shaon Bin Rahman, resident surgeon at the institute.
Earlier that morning, Parveen Akhter (32), Tanzila’s mother, succumbed to her injuries. She had suffered 32 percent burns. Dr. Rahman stated that Tanzila had burns on 90 percent of her body.
