Pabna Apr 24 (V7N) - Two SSC students were killed in a head-on collision between an easy bike and a motorcycle in Aminpur, Pabna. The accident occurred at around 5 pm on Thursday (April 24) at the Lal intersection on the Aminpur Regional Highway in Kashinathpur.
The deceased are Asad (17), son of Karim Kari of Goalnagar village in Dhalarchar union of Aminpur police station, and Jubayer (18), son of Delwar Hossain of Bongram area of Santhia. Both of them are said to have passed the SSC examination.
According to local sources, the motorcycle was going to Kazirhat area of Bera upazila at a high speed in the afternoon. The easy bike was entering the highway from the Lal intersection of the Kashinathpur-Aminpur regional highway. At that time, the fast-moving motorcycle collided head-on with the easy bike. As a result, two students on the motorcycle were killed on the spot.
Aminpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nurus Salam Siddiqui confirmed the incident, saying that the incident occurred due to speeding. The body was recovered. The body was handed over to the family as they had no complaints. Police members inspected the spot. Details of the incident will be known after investigation.
