Rajshahi, July 21 (V7N) – A joint operation conducted by the Bangladesh Army and other security forces in the Saheb Bazar area of Rajshahi city resulted in the arrest of an armed criminal along with confiscation of weapons and ammunition.
 
In the early hours of Sunday, around 2:00 AM, based on precise intelligence, a coordinated raid was carried out in Borokuthi Master Para, Saheb Bazar. During the operation, Md. Murad Sheikh, also known as ‘Cocktail Murad’, a wanted terrorist, was apprehended. Authorities seized one foreign pistol, one magazine, and one round of ammunition from him.
 
The Bangladesh Army reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the public. Citizens are urged to provide any information regarding criminal activities to the nearest army camp or law enforcement agencies.
