Dhaka, Nov 28 (V7N) – Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has voiced serious concern over the current health condition of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia. In a statement issued by the Press Wing late Friday, he requested the people of Bangladesh to pray for her swift recovery.

According to the statement, the Chief Adviser has been regularly monitoring Khaleda Zia’s medical progress and has instructed all concerned authorities to ensure that she receives the highest level of medical support. He emphasized that there must be no shortcomings in her treatment and reaffirmed that the government is fully prepared to provide any necessary assistance.

Professor Yunus noted that Khaleda Zia, a three-time former prime minister, holds significant symbolic importance for the nation during this period of democratic transition. He described her as a source of inspiration whose well-being is crucial for the country.

The Chief Adviser also directed all relevant departments to remain fully prepared, coordinated, and proactive in delivering any required support throughout her treatment process.
