Washington, Apr 29 (V7N) — US President Donald Trump delivered a strong message on Iran during a state dinner held in honor of visiting British monarch King Charles III at the White House.

Speaking at the event on Tuesday, Trump claimed that King Charles shares his stance that Iran must never be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.

Referring to Iran as a direct adversary, Trump said, “We have defeated that particular adversary militarily. We will never allow them to get their hands on nuclear weapons. King Charles agrees with me on this issue more than I do.”

The remarks suggest a convergence of views between the United States and the United Kingdom on preventing Iran’s nuclear development.

Analysts say such alignment, particularly involving a prominent figure like King Charles, carries notable diplomatic significance, reflecting broader Western consensus on curbing Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

The statement comes amid ongoing tensions and diplomatic efforts surrounding Iran’s nuclear program and regional security.
