Tehran, Apr 29 (V7N) — Iran has continued its military preparations despite the ongoing ceasefire, signaling that tensions remain unresolved, according to army spokesman Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia.
Speaking on the current situation, Akraminia said it would be premature to consider the conflict over. “Based on our assessment, the war does not appear to be finished,” he stated, adding that there remains a lack of trust toward the United States.
He noted that although a ceasefire is in place, Iran’s military activities are continuing at a pace similar to wartime conditions. Training exercises are ongoing, and efforts are being intensified to modernize equipment and enhance overall military capability.
The remarks reflect Tehran’s cautious stance amid the fragile truce, as both sides remain on alert and diplomatic efforts continue to shape the next phase of the conflict.
