Tabriz, Apr 27 (V7N)- Iran has showcased its Shahed-136 drones at a public rally in the northwestern city of Tabriz, highlighting its military capabilities amid ongoing geopolitical tensions with the United States and Israel.

The drones were displayed before a large crowd of citizens, many of whom expressed strong support for Iran’s armed forces and leadership. Participants at the rally described the drones as symbols of national strength and defense readiness.

Iran has periodically displayed its Shahed series drones as part of efforts to project its defense posture and send a message regarding its military preparedness. The latest exhibition is seen as a continuation of that strategy.

Meanwhile, according to US media outlet Axios, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt stated that the United States does not intend to engage in public negotiations with Iran.

At the same time, tensions have intensified at sea. The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed that a two-week-long US naval blockade has affected maritime traffic involving Iran.

In a social media statement, CENTCOM said that 38 ships were instructed to change course or return to port, effectively restricting access to Iranian ports during the period.

The developments come amid a fragile ceasefire environment, raising concerns over further escalation in the region. Analysts suggest that both the military display by Iran and the maritime actions by the US reflect ongoing strategic signaling between the two sides.
