Tehran, Apr 21 (V7N) — An Iranian-flagged cargo vessel has crossed the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz despite ongoing US sanctions, according to reports by Tasnim News Agency.

The vessel, identified as Shuja-2, reportedly departed from Shahid Rajaee Port, located near Bandar Abbas, and is en route to Kandla Port.

According to maritime tracking platform MarineTraffic, the ship is currently transiting through the Strait of Hormuz. The data also confirms India as its declared destination.
