Tehran, Mar 21 (V7N) – Regional tensions in the Middle East escalated sharply on the morning of Eid-ul-Fitr, as Israel and Iran exchanged a series of attacks, raising fears of a wider conflict.

According to reports, multiple explosions were heard in the Iranian capital Tehran early Saturday. Strikes were also reported in Shahr-e Ray and Karaj, while missiles were fired toward Isfahan.

Earlier, an হামলা targeted the Bandar Abbas Air Base, signaling a widening scope of military operations. The United States Central Command released footage claiming that military installations in Haji Abad were struck.

In retaliation, Iran launched long-range missiles toward Israeli territory, including Tel Aviv, as well as the West Bank and Jerusalem. Initial reports indicate damage in several locations, though full details are yet to be confirmed.

There are also reports of the conflict spilling into the Gulf region. Iranian forces are said to have targeted a joint US-UK military installation at Diego Garcia with missile strikes.

The situation remains highly volatile, with international observers closely monitoring developments amid concerns of further escalation.
