Ankara, Nov 03 (V7N)-Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has criticized Israel for its poor record in respecting the ceasefire in Gaza, stating that more than 200 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since the agreement was reached.

In an interview with the Turkish state news agency Anadolu Agency, Erdogan said that Hamas appears more committed than Israel to maintaining the ceasefire.

“We all see that Israel has a very bad record in this regard,” Erdogan said. “We are facing an administration that has been involved in the killing of more than 200 innocent people since the ceasefire agreement and continues to occupy and invade the West Bank.”

The Turkish president also condemned Israel’s actions in Jerusalem and the West Bank, saying, “We cannot accept the occupation of the West Bank, changing the status of Jerusalem, or attempts to undermine the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

Erdogan’s remarks come amid ongoing international concerns over humanitarian conditions in Gaza and the enforcement of the recent ceasefire.
