Beijing, May 07 (V7N) – China has expressed deep disappointment and concern over India’s missile strikes on multiple locations in Pakistan, urging both countries to exercise restraint amid rising tensions.

A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman reiterated China's opposition to all forms of terrorism, emphasizing the need for peaceful dialogue between India and Pakistan, two neighboring nuclear-armed nations. He noted that both countries are also neighboring China, underscoring the geopolitical importance of stability in the region.

The spokesperson called on both India and Pakistan to avoid taking actions that could escalate the situation further. He emphasized the importance of peace and stability in the region, urging both sides to prioritize diplomacy over military action to prevent the situation from worsening.
