Dhaka, Aug 21 (V7N) – The government has appointed three new members to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC). The appointments were confirmed in separate notifications issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday (August 20).
The newly appointed members are:

Dr. Md. Mohiuddin

Professor Dr. Muhammad Shaheen Chowdhury

Dr. M. Amjad Hossain
According to the notification, President Mohammed Shahabuddin made the appointments under the authority vested in him by Article 138(1) of the Constitution.
In the case of Dr. Md. Mohiuddin, the notification stated that he was appointed on the condition of suspending his pending post-retirement leave and related benefits.
As per Article 139(1) of the Constitution, the appointed members will serve for five years from the date of assuming office or until they reach the age of 65 years, whichever comes first.
