Dhaka, Sep 26 (V7N) – The capital and surrounding areas may experience light rain today, while the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy to cloudy, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

In its morning forecast issued Friday, the BMD said that winds from the south and southeast may blow at speeds of 10–15 km/h during the first half of the day. Daytime temperatures are likely to remain mostly unchanged, meaning the prevailing heat will continue.

At 6 am today, Dhaka recorded a temperature of 26.5°C with 94% humidity. The highest temperature in the capital yesterday was 35°C, while today’s lowest was 26.3°C.

The Met Office also reported that 3 mm of rainfall was recorded in Dhaka over the last 24 hours.
