DHAKA, June 17 (V7N )— Bangladesh is seeing strong remittance inflows this fiscal year, with expatriates sending more than $34.49 billion from July 2025 to June 16, 2026, according to Bangladesh Bank data released Tuesday. 

The figure marks an 18.3% increase compared to the same period in FY2024-25, when inflows stood at $29.14 billion. 

On June 16 alone, overseas Bangladeshis remitted $105 million through official banking channels, underscoring their sustained contribution to the country’s foreign exchange reserves.

For the first 16 days of June, total remittance reached $1.729 billion.
