SYLHET, May 2, (V7N) – In a move to ease travel for Hajj pilgrims, Biman Bangladesh Airlines will operate direct flights from Sylhet's Osmani International Airport to Madinah starting May 14.
A total of five flights will serve 2,095 pilgrims. The first flight will go directly to Madinah, while four others will fly to Jeddah on May 23, 25, 26, and 29.
Passengers will complete immigration formalities upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, streamlining the process.
According to ATAB Sylhet Zone President Mohammed Ziaur Rahman Khan Rezwan, 2,700 pilgrims from Sylhet will perform Hajj this year—2,095 from Sylhet and the rest via Dhaka.
