Pabna, Nov 04 (V7N) — The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced its candidates for four of the five constituencies in Pabna ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election. The announcement was made on Monday evening at a press conference held at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan, Dhaka, where Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir revealed the party’s nominees.

According to the declaration, Advocate Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas has been nominated for Pabna-5, Habibur Rahman Habib for Pabna-4, Agriculturist Hasan Zafir Tuhin for Pabna-3, and Selim Reza Habib for Pabna-2. The Pabna-1 seat has been kept open, with no candidate announced yet.

Following his nomination, Hasan Zafir Tuhin, the candidate for Pabna-3, expressed his gratitude, saying, “Alhamdulillah. I am pleased to receive the party nomination. The ‘Al-Dhaner Shish’ (Sheaf of Paddy) symbol represents the hopes and aspirations of the people and their quest for rights. I will work alongside the people of Pabna-3 to fulfill their expectations and aspirations.”

The BNP’s announcement highlights the party’s strategic selections in Pabna, combining professional expertise, agricultural representation, and local leadership to strengthen its position ahead of the upcoming national polls.
