Dhaka, July 19 (V7N) – The Bangladesh Meteorological Department, (BMD) has forecast light rain in Dhaka and surrounding areas on Saturday, accompanied by a slight increase in daytime temperature.
 
According to the six‑hour forecast, skies over the capital may become temporarily cloudy with chances of light rain. Winds are expected to blow at speeds of 10 to 15 km/h from the west to southwest.
 
At 6 a.m., the temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 28.1 °C with 91 percent humidity. The previous day's high reached 32 °C.
 
In the 120‑hour national forecast, the meteorological office predicts light to moderate rain, possibly with thunder, in most parts of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong, and Sylhet divisions, and in some areas of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions. Some locations in the northern and northeastern divisions may experience heavy to very heavy rainfalls.
 
Across the country, maximum temperatures are expected to rise slightly, while night temperatures will remain relatively unchanged.
